Rhino Glass Beads
I’ve been lampworking for about ten years. Before discovering glass I messed about with silversmithing and wirework in my spare time, but from the moment I melted my first bit of glass with Pauline Delaney in a beginners bead making class I was hooked.
I now work almost exclusively with Borosilicate glass because it lends itself to the type of thing I like to make. This includes some beads, but mostly off mandrel small sculptural pieces. I make jewellery components, weird creatures from my imagination and strange scent bottles. I get bored very quickly so my work is always changing, but always comes back to the ocean as a theme.
